The Chairman of Punjab Link Council, Resham Singh Sandhu, MBE.DL.FRSA., attended the INDIA CALLING 2009: India Europe Business Partnership Summit held between 30th Sept., to 3rd Oct., 2009 in Brussels. This was the annual conference which brings high powered business individuals from the Indian subcontinent to interact with European counterparts to promote business partnerships. He stated "The conference was well attended with the Guest of Honour Mr. Vayalar Ravi, Hon'ble Minister for Overseas Indian Affairs., Government of India, who made the openind address. I feel that the opportunities for business in India continue to grow and Punjab Link Council is well placed to bring together businesses from the East Midlands, UK and Punjab, India for mutual benefits and future growth" . Punjab Link Council is currently involved in a two year business programme to ramp up its activity to provide business mission services to the East Midlands, UK and Punjab, North India.
